Annual Load the Truck

For many years now, churches and associations have conducted truck loadings to collect some much-needed items for the children being cared for by the GA Baptist Children's Home.  Typically non-perishable food items and paper goods are collected, helping to stretch the budget for operating the cottage homes. In addition to non-perishable food items, gift cards (Wal-Mart, Kroger, Publix) have proven to be a great resource for the Children's Home campus. Our Association typically holds the truck loading in the Spring of each year. The Chidren's Home works closely with their campuses to provide an up-to-date list on current needs.   Not only do the collected items help with the day to day needs and to stretch financial resources, but they also show the Chidren's Home clients that there are people who are praying for them, supporting them, and loving them.
