It's a NEW Day - Vision 2030

A Baptist Association is a network of cooperating churches that have independently determined to be in a relationship with other like minded churches in giving and receiving assistance in the fulfillment of their mission.

Our Biblical Foundation:

"...your partnership in the gospel..."

(Philippians 1:5)

A compass is sitting on top of an old map.

Our Mission Statement:

The Floyd County Baptist Association is encouraging and equipping pastors and people to do the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.

Our 9 Priorities:

1. PRAYING

A close up of a person 's hands folded in prayer

We are praying for every pastor and church; prayer walking the schools, promoting the National Day of Prayer; and conducting the week of prayer for the Floyd County Baptist Association.

2. REACHING

A person is handing another person a bible at sunset

We are emphasizing evangelistic effectiveness in everything we do and encouraging every church to do the same.

3. DISCIPLING

A group of people are sitting around a table reading books.

We are creating a disciple-making movement in every church through discipleship groups; encouraging churches to start new groups and new Sunday School classes; and conducting an annual discipleship conference.

4. GOING

A globe is sitting on top of a holy bible.

We are in partnership with churches and missionaries; we have ongoing missional relationships; we are engaged locally, nationally, and internationally.

5. CARING

A person is holding a red heart in their hands

We are caring for our community through food distribution and other needs-based ministries; we are caring for the hurting through our Disaster Relief Team.

6. GROWING

A person is watering a small plant with their finger.

We are always encouraging other like minded churches to be part of the Floyd County Baptist Association.  We want to increase the number of churches/missions in the FCBA to further impact our community and world with the Gospel of Jesus.

7. TRAINING

A man is giving a presentation to a group of people in a classroom.

We are providing training for leaders through various streams of communication and opportunities.  Our Ministers' Meetings; staff/age-group gatherings; Sunday School leader gatherings; the annual EQUIP Conference; and others are equipping leaders.

8. GIVING

A person is holding a red heart in their hands

We are giving through our Load the Truck for the Georgia Baptist Children's Home; the Pastor and Church emergency funds; supporting local groups doing Kingdom work; supporting Mission Georgia initiatives in Rome and Floyd County.

9. NEXT GENERATION

A group of people are standing next to each other with their hands in the air.

We are focused on reaching kids and students through various events as well as ongoing ministries.  We resource activities that reach and disciple elementary aged children, middle school and high school students.  We are on the college campuses of Shorter University, Berry College, and Georgia Highlands through our BCMs.
